  Wrights moved us some time ago. While it would be hard to find nicer people, I have to say that the way they handled our belongings was appallingly rough. Two plastic items, a kitchen rubbish bin and a clothes basket were broken, and when one of our lounge chairs was put in place, the owner dropped it, stating "Aw, I'm so tired!!", the back of the leather chair then striking violently on a protruding part of the house wall as a result of his negligence. Three of our boxes were damaged, a large sharp object having gone through them. Two of those were expensive cartons lent to us by friends!! As if that wasn't bad enough, they kept a sealed package of packing paper that was to be used for shelving. Wrights supplied NO paper at all, at our request, and our package was sealed in a different way than theirs, so there was no excuse whatsoever for keeping it. We obtained ALL boxes before engaging Wrights (that is, they supplied NONE) and yet they saw fit to keep several of our spares that we were to return to our friends. They knew that those boxes did not belong to them.
  Moving house is a tremendous upheaval; people just can't think of and remember everything, and I think that is what removalists count on.
